Our client provides a broad spectrum of civil and structural engineering consulting service which include the design and construction of roads, bridges, and civil works on oil drilling locations. The company is a multi – disciplinary engineering contractor with a number of Federal Ministries and Agencies, State Government and Heavy Civil Engineering Projects throughout the country.

As a result of expansion in the activities of this company, we now have an opening for career minded Civil Engineers, to join our existing project team.

Civil/Structural Engineers

Job Description and Duty

Performing engineering duties in planning designing of infrastructural facilities such as roads, bridges, harbours channels etc.

Other Typical Job functions and activities include:
· Responsible for designing, constructing, maintaining structures that are safe and up to code
· Programming, Monitoring and Reporting of works
· Works progress reporting
· Construction resource planning and ordering.
· Executing of works comprising mainly of earthworks, concreting and asphalting sometimes in wet swamp
· Materials quantity control and variance check

Qualification and Experiences:
· HND or BSc, MSc in civil engineering with practical experience in civil engineering designs and constructions.
· Minimum of 4 years post NYSC experience
· Working knowledge of surveying will be an added advantage.
· Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings, architectural drafting and design and develop the finer details accordance with the set guidelines.
· Must be familiar with AutoCAD, knowledge of other civil engineering software would be an added advantage.
· Professional qualification is added advantage
· Proficiency in Civil/Structural Engineering design software is an added advantage
· Proficient in the used of Microsoft Packages, Internet etc.

SALARY: Very attractive, though negotiable
